The GLP-1 Food Relationship Specialist
Support for food noise, hunger changes and long-term wellbeing during and after Mounjaro, Wegovy and Ozempic.
GLP-1 medications can feel life-changing.
For many people, appetite reduces, food thoughts quieten and eating finally feels easier.
But as time goes on, a different experience can emerge.
For some, this is when anxiety begins to build:
What happens when the medication stops?
Will hunger return in an overwhelming way?
Will I regain weight?
Can I trust myself around food without this support?
Will old patterns of emotional or binge eating come back?
Many people don’t just fear stopping medication — they fear losing control around food again.
This stage can feel uncertain, vulnerable and emotionally complex.
A different kind of GLP-1 support
Most GLP-1 guidance focuses on what to eat.
My work focuses on something different and often missing:
Your relationship with food, hunger and your body.
As a registered nutritional therapist specialising in emotional eating, binge eating and food relationship patterns, I support you to navigate both the physical and psychological changes that occur during and after GLP-1 medication.
Because long-term success is about managing both the physical and psychological systems
It’s never to soon to fix your relationship with food
Areas We May Explore….
Food Noise & Cravings
Understanding what drives them and how to support them beyond willpower.
Maintenance Nutrition
Learning how to eat in a balanced, sustainable way after weight loss.
Emotional Eating
Developing coping tools that do not rely on food alone.
Hunger Confidence
Relearning hunger and fullness cues without fear.
Building Trust Around Food
Moving away from guilt, shame and all-or-nothing thinking.
How can I support you?
When reducing or tapering GLP-1 medication
This can be one of the most vulnerable stages.
As hunger, appetite and food thoughts begin to return, support focuses on:
Understanding changes in hunger and fullness signals
Managing returning food noise and cravings
Supporting emotional regulation around food
Preventing overwhelm as eating patterns shift
Building structure without restriction
Strengthening confidence as medication reduces
Whilst on medication
When appetite is reduced, it can be difficult to know what “enough” looks like.

Recommended Nutritional Monitoring
Whilst on your GLP-1 journey, regular blood testing is recommended to ensure your nutritional needs are being met and that weight loss is supporting, rather than compromising, your long-term health.
As appetite and food intake are often reduced, nutritional deficiencies can develop over time without obvious symptoms. Monitoring key nutrients and health markers allows us to identify any concerns early and make personalised recommendations to support your wellbeing.
Testing every 3–6 months may include:
• Iron status and ferritin
• Vitamin B12 and folate
• Vitamin D
• Full blood count
• Liver and kidney function
• Blood sugar regulation (HbA1c)
• Cholesterol and lipid profileRegular monitoring helps protect your energy levels, muscle mass, metabolism and overall health, whilst providing confidence that your body is receiving the nutrients it needs. This can help support a smoother transition when reducing or stopping GLP-1 medication and improve the likelihood of maintaining your results long term.
Off Medication

Hunger is returning, you feel overwhelmed by food thoughts or scared that binge eating behaviours are creeping back in.
You are not alone in feeling this.
Weight loss alone does not heal emotional eating patterns, body image distress, low self-worth, or years of dieting or using food to cope.
